October, as you know, is co-op month and VEOC is celebrating worker-ownership this month by having some bowling parties in the central and southern reaches of the state. We'll pay for the lane, shoes and appetizers of some sort. You come and have fun with worker owners from Vermont and Western Mass and maybe get some greasy food to boot.
It is a league night, so we've reserved 3 lanes and will definitely want to know if you're planning on coming. Please and thank you, tell your cooperative friends, throw this invite into an all business email, and join us for a couple of hours of goofing around in slippery shoes.
Costumes not required, but wouldn't it be more fun if there were capes and unicorn horns?
And for a bonus, here's a heads up: VEOC's annual conference will be on Friday May 30th, 2025. I'm really trying to increase the "for co-ops, by co-ops" sessions, so be thinking about if there's a session you'd like to do (or even one you want me to help organize that you could be in a panel for). Even though VEOC has Vermont in the title, my heart will always be a little bit in the Valley co-op world and since this conference is in driving distance, I want to include you ALL in the building process. PVSquared, Dean's Beans and Real Pickles all presented last year to great acclaim.
